#  適當吃、多運動 延緩糖尿病前期發病

一名80多歲阿嬤，長期有服用降血壓藥物的習慣，某次健檢時發現空腹血糖108mg/dl，屬於糖尿病前期，雖醫護人員提醒應注意飲食，且養成運動習慣，但短短三個月後再健檢時，卻發現阿嬤空腹血糖飆升到135mg/dl，確診為糖尿病；余宜叡, 鹿東基督教醫院家庭醫學科主治醫師指出，原來阿嬤較少外出運動，加上不想浪費食物，都會全部清光飯菜，才埋下致病的危險因子。

**糖尿病前期 透過飲食運動延緩病情**

一般而言，糖尿病前期就是指空腹血糖101-125mg/dl，這時患者的胰臟已有部分受損，若沒有及時透過飲食和運動調整，就很容易轉變成糖尿病；余宜叡醫師說，臨床上也曾有一名50多歲男性，健檢時發現空腹血糖異常110mg/dl，合併有高血脂，因此痛下決心，養成運動習慣，且配合日常飲食調整，連續三年下來，有效延緩步入糖尿病。

**飲食改變 糖尿病患有年輕趨勢**

余宜叡進一步說，隨著飲食西化，加上生活習慣改變，糖尿病患者的年齡層有逐漸年輕化的趨勢，尤其有些公司行號例行體檢時，即使檢查空腹血糖值在101-125mg/dl，卻誤以為恐是前一天吃太多導致，並不以為意，也沒有陸續接受追蹤，反而導致原本尚在糖尿病前期，最後仍演變成糖尿病患者，得不償失。

**血糖值出現異狀 應盡快尋求醫療協助**

一旦發現自己血糖值出現異狀，就應盡快尋求專業醫師的協助，透過生活習慣的改變，一定能延緩罹患糖尿病的時程；余宜叡醫師呼籲，飲食運動習慣改變，加上定期和醫護團隊討論，慢慢調整生活方式，多點耐心和努力，就不用擔心罹患糖尿病，得長期仰賴藥物。
