#  吃蔬果解便祕？ 中醫師推翻迷思

現代人常因生活緊張、飲食作息不正常等，導致出現便秘。以中醫角度而言，只要一天以上才解便，或覺得解便不易、解便後有排不乾淨的感覺等，無論是軟或硬，都屬於便秘。許多人一便祕，就想透過吃蔬果來改善，但這並不是完全正確的方法，因為便祕分為寒證和熱證便秘，若是寒證便秘，不宜再補充蔬果，否則可能造成情況加重。

中醫將便祕分成許多類型，鍾玄夫中醫師指出，若是上火、缺水者，是熱證便秘；腸子沒力造成動能不足者，則為寒證便秘。區分的方法可觀察大便的型態，大便呈現乾硬、粗大，或一顆顆小球狀，是因為陰液不足而造成熱證便秘；大便呈現軟散不成形，或大便很黏而解不乾淨，就屬於寒證便秘，至於一開始解便是硬的一、二顆，後面則為軟散型，也是寒證便秘。

解決兩種便秘，有不同的方法，鍾玄夫醫師強調，熱證便秘是陰液不足造成，可補充水分、纖維素、油脂等，多吃蔬果、喝水和適度補充油脂，可以有助於軟化大便，幫助解便；然而，貧血患者也可能有熱證便秘，必須從治療貧血下手。至於寒證便秘是因為動能不足，造成腸胃蠕動不良，過多陰液會帶來負擔，吃太多蔬果反而會使便祕惡化；另外，冰涼的食物會加重寒的狀況，應該少吃，建議可補充溫性食品，如薑、胡椒、咖哩等辛香料，並多熱敷和按摩腹部，有助緩解。

鍾玄夫說，若是一般民眾無法分辨自己便祕的類型，建議可以請教中醫師來確認，而要真正改善便秘，應該從生活習慣開始著手，回復正常的排便狀況。一般而言，正常的排便是每日一次，且完整成條狀，解便快速容易，解後乾淨，才屬於健康的排便狀況。
