#  攝取這兩種營養素 可減少肺癌風險

加拿大一項流行病學研究發現，無論有沒有抽菸，只要飲食含豐富維生素C、類胡蘿蔔素，可幫助降低肺癌風險。

**維生素C、類胡蘿蔔素 有助降低肺癌風險**

上述研究成果已發表於〈腫瘤學探索〉期刊（Frontiers in Oncology）。研究顯示，維生素C可幫助重度吸菸者降低肺癌風險，對於男性重度吸菸者，beta-胡蘿蔔素、alpha-胡蘿蔔素、beta-隱黃素、茄紅素等，也可以發揮類似功能。

研究首席作者研究生馬汀‧沙雷克表示，在這些抗氧化成分中，有些也能降低女性中度抽菸者、非吸菸者肺癌風險。研究發現，維生素C可以保護沒有抽菸習慣的女性，幫助這些女性減少肺癌發生機率。過去研究並沒有這樣的發現，這次研究顯示兩者有所關聯。

**這些抗氧化成分 對減少鱗狀細胞癌、腺癌、小細胞癌都有幫助**

研究人員進行肺癌病例對照研究，針對三種常見腫瘤亞型做分析，研究作者瑪莉-伊莉絲‧帕倫特教授表示，研究觀察到，beta-胡蘿蔔素、alpha-胡蘿蔔素、beta-隱黃素、茄紅素與維生素C攝取量較高的人，鱗狀細胞癌的風險較低，而beta-胡蘿蔔素、alpha-胡蘿蔔素攝取量高的人，腺癌發生風險也會降低。此外，beta-隱黃素、茄紅素攝取量中等或攝取量偏高，也都可以降低小細胞癌風險。

**抽菸的人多吃蔬果 有助保護肺部健康**

抽菸是肺癌重要風險因子。在全世界，肺癌死亡率也是名列前茅，從這項研究成果來看，飲食似乎可以影響肺癌發生率。研究人員認為，對於非抽菸者、抽菸者，包括重度抽菸的人，多攝取含類胡蘿蔔素、維生素C的蔬菜、水果，或可幫助降低肺癌風險。

美國癌症學會提醒，想預防肺癌，除了避免抽菸，也要避免接觸氡氣、致癌化學物質，盡量維持健康飲食，以減少肺癌發生機率。
