小baby一出生，除了喝母奶之外，就是喝配方奶，他們需要喝水嗎？

很多媽媽對此都感到困惑不已，甚至有些老一輩的婆婆們，還會有餵寶寶喝葡萄糖水的觀念；營養師則是指出，剛出生至4個月大的寶寶不宜喝水，直到4個月後開始吃副食品時，才建議喝水。

**寶寶太早開始喝水 會增加腎臟負擔**

中山醫院營養組黃子芩營養師表示，寶寶喝純奶最好是喝到4至6個月，之後就要吃副食品，至於是4個月或是6個月開始吃副食品，要看小寶寶的神經發育；通常是當寶寶開始吃副食品時，再開始喝水，因為小寶寶的腎臟發育尚未完全，若是太早開始喝水，會增加腎臟負擔。

**4至6個月可吃副食品 1歲可吃正食**

黃子芩指出，因為吃副食品無法用奶瓶，而是用湯匙，若是神經發育已經可以用湯匙就口吃食物，就可以開始吃副食品。4至6個月時增加副食品後，可以少一餐奶，以平常喝奶習慣，其中一餐奶由副食品取代，但若是寶寶吃副食品的情況不好，也可在之後再喝奶。但是寶寶大約1歲，就可以吃正食，一天喝2杯奶就好(1杯約240cc)。

**太晚吃副食品 寶寶容易過敏**

當寶寶逐漸長大，不論母奶與配方奶，其熱量與鐵質是不夠的，因而需要吃副食品；黃子芩營養師進一步指出，有很多研究發現，針對過敏或是寶寶的感染以及之後的發展，吃副食品都有其好處，尤其是太晚吃副食品，反而會使得小寶寶容易有過敏問題，家長要特別注意。
