#  吸煙好發心病及癌症 可能缺乏這些營養素有關

吸煙有害健康，除了香煙中的尼古丁之外，根據研究顯示，吸煙者體內往往缺乏有益健康的營養素，包括維生素B群、維生素C以及葉酸，都要比正常人來得低；營養師提醒，吸煙者除了要戒煙之外，並且要多補充五顏六色的蔬果，可以促進身體健康。

根據國外多項研究顯示，除了證實吸煙者會因為尼古丁導致癌症之外，吸煙者體內所含有的維生素B6、B12、葉酸及維生素C的濃度，都明顯低於未吸煙者，而且吸煙者血漿中同半胱胺酸的濃度會上升；使得吸煙者較不吸煙者易於罹患心血管疾病和中風。

#### 每20分鐘就有一人死於菸害

《美國醫療協會期刊》分析稱，來自187個國家的數據顯示，2012年，全球有9.67億人每天抽煙。中國是世界上最大的煙草生產國和消費國，全球約43%的香煙產自中國。中國也是受煙草危害最嚴重的國家，全國吸煙人口超過3億，非吸煙者暴露於二手煙的人群高達7.4億，為全球之冠。每年有約140萬人死於吸煙引發的各種相關疾病，約佔全球總數的1/3。

依據國健署所公布的「2010年成人吸菸行為調查」顯示，台灣成人吸煙率為19.8％，其中男性35.0％，女性4.1％；而台灣每年有超過1萬8000人死於吸煙相關疾病，包括有癌症與心血管疾病等，相當於每20分鐘就有一位國人因煙害而失去寶貴生命！

#### 吸菸會使自由基增加 要多補充抗氧化劑

張益堯營養師表示，吸煙者會使得身體內的自由基增加，以致會引起三高以及癌症等病況；因此，要多補充抗氧化劑，例如含有維生素C、E和植化素較多的食物，抗氧化物較多，而含有抗氧化物較多的食物就以蔬果最多，因此每天最好是要多吃五顏六色的蔬菜和水果，每天應該要吃五至九份蔬果，來排除自由基。

#### 維生素B群可使能量代謝 葉酸則攸關細胞修復

吸煙者除了要多吃蔬果增加維生素A、C、E，還應該要多吃含有B群和葉酸等食物。張益堯營養師指出，維生素B群可以增加能量代謝，而葉酸則攸關細胞修復。飲食中攝取全穀根莖類，就可補充足夠的維生素B群，至於葉酸主要存在深綠色蔬菜、肉類、小麥胚芽及糙米等。
