#  多喝水有益健康？ 醫：排尿量達標才是重點

泌尿道感染總是讓人苦不堪言，頻尿與排尿時的灼熱感讓人深感不適，且倘若沒有立即處理，細菌可能會沿著輸尿管向上感染，導致腎臟出現腎盂腎炎(Pyelonephritis)的情況。很多人都說，夏天是容易讓泌尿系統感染的季節，其實不然。

**不是水喝得多就好 排尿量也須注意**

醫院泌尿科主治醫師蔡維恭表示，泌尿道系統感染並沒有季節之分，即使現在季節已步入金秋，天氣依然炎熱，民眾從事戶外活動或工作時仍會流很多汗；最重要的是，無論是哪一個季節，還是要注重水分的補充，以及排尿量是否達標。

「並不是水喝得多就好。」蔡維恭解釋，假使補充大量水分，但是都藉由流汗排出，而不是經由泌尿系統排放，仍會造成泌尿道的細菌感染。民眾應須注意一天的排尿量是否有達到1,500 c.c.，若非如此，就更需要加強水分的補充。

**吃蔓越莓防泌尿道感染？ 醫：確實無效**

另一方面，許多女性總是會食用蔓越莓來達到預防泌尿道感染的效果，不過最近也有許多消息指出，即便時常補充蔓越莓，也無法有效降低泌尿道感染機率。對此，蔡維恭也表示，蔓越莓雖然具有輔助/保護泌尿道的效果，但是功效僅可抑制細菌在泌尿道上皮的附著，因此食用蔓越莓仍不可取代喝水；倘若細菌量龐大，還是會侵犯泌尿道系統。

此外，蔡維恭表示，由於女性的尿道較男性來得短，且尿道口與肛門接近，在性生活、泡湯，以及游泳過後，建議應立刻排尿，藉此可防止細菌向內感染。(蔡維恭 - 蔡維恭台北暨淡水馬偕醫院泌尿科主治醫師)
